In the passport the given name is "Subhash Balan" and in the Express entry profile I have inputted "Subhash".
What can be done in this case as I have already received the ITA I am unable to edit the fields.

I'd suggest you decline ITA, correct the name, and wait for next ITA.
Too risky.

Seriously?! You think it’s that important? Asking because husband has first name and 2 middle names and in his passport they are all entered under given name. I got confused at first and left out his middle names...I thought it was self-explanatory. Will have to check again my EE profile before submitting as this would be a very unfortunate mistake

My suggestion is based on the premise that one should avoid any possible unnecessary questioning during application process.
I'm not saying one would get rejected, but it's a risk that can be eliminated.
It's just that if there is anything missing compared to passport, better not stumble on the case agent who is having a bad day... :D
That's why I'd suggesting your first name as it is written on your passport, even if it's 3 names.

Are you sure this is the only solution? Can’t I use an LOE?
Didn't say it's the only solution. It's just a suggestion.
It's probably nothing, but it's also a risk because first name is different than on passport.
Yes you can probably fix it with an LOE, but my suggestion is based on the fact that it's an easy fix.
Unless someone can by experience tell you it's okay if they went through the same thing...

To be honest with you, A tiny diff btw the name on your application and passport can get your application rejected.. All over the world thy stress the importance of names on visa holders and passports to be the same, it has to be the same order.... suggest you ask @legalfalcon or decline ITA.

As long as your passport number etc is the same. You can go ahead and file your application. When you submit your application request IRCC to change your name accordingly and explain that you inadvertently entered only a part of your name.

Here, the only concern will be that someone else should not be piggy backing your profile. So as long as it is you and you make an innocent error, no need to worry.

One question, how do you inform them about this ? Is it through the LOE? Also I was able to make the change using modify family information in the post ITA section
