I am a single applicant for FSW EE. I have a question regarding proof of funds. Do I need to have minimum amount of required fund for whole 6 months of time or not ? Currently I have 8500 in my bank account. Can I deposit 4000 cash in my account and submit application immediately after that?

For any large deposits within six months period that helps you to meet the threshold POF, you need to explain the origin of funds for example through bonus, sale of property, gift deed etc.

I would say in your case 4000/12500 is a significant enough amount.
