Dear All, @Bryanna I need your expertise

I am new here. I wish to travel to Canada from India in January first week with my wife, my two children and my sister.
I am a doctor by profession and have clinic in India and my sister is a school teacher. We all 5 family members hold valid US visitor visas. My sister and I have already travelled to US in the past.

1.What all documents are required under CAN+? We will be travelling only for 7-8 days.
2.Can we include my sister in same application on GC Key?
3. We can prove availability of funds and strong home ties.
4. My children have school off till 12th January.
5. Is it mandatory to upload marriage certificate?

How will you be applying: Online or paper submissions?

2.Can we include my sister in same application on GC Key?
New account

3. We can prove availability of funds and strong home ties.
Each applicant must prove that s/he has a genuine purpose to visit + strong individual ties to India + finances to pay for the visit including airfare.

Have you traveled to any other visa-required country earlier (UK, Schengen, Australia, NZ apart from the US)?
How long did you stay in the US? Purpose of that visit?

4. My children have school off till 12th January.
1. Has your family traveled abroad earlier for family vacations?
2. How old are your children?

5. Is it mandatory to upload marriage certificate?
No. You can upload a copy of your spouse's passport or the birth certificates of your children

The application form is the same i.e. TRV forms.

Each applicant must scan the US visa (you and your sister must also scan the entry stamps) + request for CAN+ processing in the individual cover letters.

Each applicant must have exceptionally strong ties to India + strong financial situations. Your understanding of these factors may/may not be in line with what the visa officer would like to see.

With the entire family applying together (family ties to Canada outweigh those to India) + a visit of 7-8 days (may not seem like you have a genuine purpose of visit) + no previous travel to visa-required countries (Travel History) + have not traveled together for family vacations..... you would really want to ensure that each applicant has a strong visa profile.

Children are aged 8 and 11.
Do you have a US host?
Are you planning on visiting the US?

yes, we are thinking to spend a week in US.
Applying together is my biggest concern, if that should be done or not.

Based on your posts, I have concerns about whether or not your sister and your children will be approved. That said, approvals would eventually depend on the personal and professional circumstances of each applicant

Hi @Bryanna, hope you are doing fine.
I did apply visa for my family with my sister online on 16th December.
My sister's review of eligibility started today, does this mean application is being considered under CAN+ category?

She will most likely get a decision pretty soon under CAN+ processing
