I got 3 Ghost updates in last week but nothing changed in application. I called IRCC and they asked me to wait a week more that BGC is still in progress and they waiting from 3rd party to get the status. Also they asked call next week on thursday if i dont hear anythng back then they can raise CSE to check status with procesing centre.Now, it got changed back to "Submitted". What are these guys doing!? Playing hide&seek ?
Hmmn Interesting. First, it was that Montreal never gave ghosts updates. Now we can't tell for sure that ghost updates means PPR is near but at least its an indication that they are working on file. You are June 1st so I would have expected PPR but yeah fingers crossed while we wait with you for next Thursday to come. Hopefully you get the mail before then.
What does your background check say on the website?
Did your background status change after those ghosts? Or is it still "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check".
I am asking because you mentioned that the agent told your BGC is in progress.

It went to IP2 on Nov 9th.
Oh okay. IP2 for weeks. Thats another thing that makes Montreal unpredictable. Some moved straight to PPR after IP2, some no. In the past there was no IP2 except for inland candidates.
What to do but just keep waiting

You are next in line. But the sad part is Ghosts are no longer what they used to be. Folks are getting 'ghosts' but nothing seems to be moving frwdYep I think even @Y@$h had a ghost update last week but nothing has happened beyond that. But in the least a ghost update means someone at least touched your file. I have received no updates on my profile.

my application changed to IP2 without any ghost update. While to some cases, ghost update date is the date the app got approved. So it is unpredictable. Maybe you should call and speak to an agent. At least your app is toucbed by someone today and lets celebrate it !!
Nope! It’s was a genuine ghost update, where nothing changed at all. Interestingly, I received an email for this ghost’s arrival
