Canadian Experience Class Work Experience

Hello,
I worked in Canada on Work Permit from Mar 2014 to Feb 2016. I was wondering if I intend to apply for PR in Canadian Experience class starting of January 2018 in Canadian Experience Class would I be actually eligible for this category?
If we apply in January and say get the letter of interest in March (hoping) would the experience actually count since by the time we submit the documents its going to be more than 2 years?
I just wanted to ask here so that i know which category to file under...Thanks for the help.

To meet the eligibility requirement for CEC, you would have to have one year of experience within the past 3 years at the time you apply. If your last date of employment was (for example ) February 15, 2016, and you were able to apply today, you would only have 2 1/2 months of eligible experience - not enough to qualify under CEC.

However, if you also have foreign skilled work experience, you may qualify for the FSW program, and your Canadian experience would give you points (for your CRS score, the experience has to be within the past 10 years).
