Proof of fund

I have fund taken from my dad. I fixed deposited in my account for the last 16 months. Now do I need to show gift deed for it?
I have taken solvency letter and statement for the last 6 months.
Kindly suggest.

If the funds are on your name for more than 6 months then you need not to have gift deed.
