About Medicals...Please help!

We submitted our application September 2016 and is now running for almost 26 months. As per our notes recently, we already passed criminality and eligibility since June 2017. Our first upfront medical has expired and they requested us to redo our medical and we passed the second medical february of this year. (2018) I understand that the medical has only 1 year validity. So more or less our second medical will expired in February 2019 which is 3 months from now. Up to now we dont have any updates since we passed the second medical and through gckey, they are already processing our background check for almost 9 months now. My question: Is there such thing as 3rd medical in case the second has expired and we dont have a passport request yet or are they gonna issue us a visa before the second medical will expire? The applicant has a non- accompanying dependent who turned 18 years old last year and now 19. MP said last month that the background check for that dependent has not started yet.

Huh. I'm not really that familiar with all the different things that can happen when dependents are in the mix so I definitely wouldn't wanna comment and tell you something wrong regarding that.

As for the medicals, they will either ask for a new one or extend the validity of your current one. You don't have to worry about that - you won't get denied because your medical expired (as it's not your fault that they are processing for as long as they have) and they also won't rush your application just because the medical is expiring.

Sorry again so when you re did ur medical , the non accompanying family member was not requested to re do it. AM I Right?

In other words, in Feb 2018 all the family members were requested to redo the medical exam except the non accompanying one. AM I RIGHT?
