App received- June 1, 2018 - Mississauga

AOR1 - July 11, 2018

Medical request- July 18, 2018

Medical done- 25 July, 2018

File transfer to NDVO- 9 Aug, 2018

AOR 2 - 16 Aug, 2018

DM on ECAS - 27 Nov, 2018

Pre-arrival services letter on CIC - 27 Nov, 2018

Looks like there is a push in NDVO to process applications faster. Hope the push continues.......

Hi everyone! I'm currently filling an application form for spousal visa under family class. I know this may sound too simple but do you fill the online application form in all caps/block letters or?
Also, when you sign some of the forms electronically, validate them and print them out for handwritten signature, do they have to look exactly like the electronic signature (full name printed on the application form) or could it be cursive and stylized? Thanks!

I just signed in Gc key profile and saw Profile updated message but when i clicked on it , nothing was updated , everything was same as before like "Your application is in progress".
I checked my ECAS and nothing's new over there too.
And i logged in again after 5 min and that profile updated message disappeared and it was again that boring word "SUBMITTED".
What does that mean ? Please help. Thanks

I have been a silent observer of this thread. This forum has really been helpful. Two days back, I received PA & DM on ECAS.

Please refer below for my timeline :-

App received - April 24th
Medical Requested - June 7th
File transfer to NDVO - September 7th
Started processing (ECAS Line no. 2) - September 18th
DM on ECAS - November 26th
Pre-arrival services - November 26th

Now waiting for PPR.

You will get good news soon. . Wait till tomorrow. I have also same experience and got pre arrival in the next day of updated message. Keep checking your ecas and gckey. Good luck!

It's been quite sometime since I submitted my application but if I remember correctly, you only have to do BOTH the signatures (handwritten + electronic) on one of the forms.....the other forms only needed handwritten signatures (which can be like the ones u do on your offical documents). I don't know if the forms n checklist have changed now but the checklist will be very helpful n make sure to read it VERY carefully as some of us had forgotten to do both the signatures on one form that required it.

electronic signatures means just a Tick mark for all documents........that has has happened with me

My file was also transferred to NDVO on Sept 7 and they started processing on Sept 18, so hopefully I'll get DM soon

Today, my gckey account has changed to final decision as an approved. Guys, please anyone tell me in how many days I will get my Passport back from NDVO to VAC ? Is final decision- "approved" means "visa has been stamped?
