A lot of people do that and I also did Upfront medicals. It was passed 1 month after.

I can see my status changed to descion made online.
When i call cic the automated service saysbackground check in process.
I haven’t received any ppr email.
Is it normal?
What are my chances of getting through?

Congratulations once more. Ur timeline and mine is the same but I’m Outland. Still waiting for PPR and my application is at Sydney Nova Scotia (Centralized Intake Office). I hope they will attend to Outland applicants as well

Most people who’s application were received by cic in October and November 2017 have done medicals and waiting for ppr. Most got medicals passed in July and August 2018. Maybe cic have gotten the ppr quota for the year that’s why they have refused to issue ppr. They seem to be holding everyone with security check (a check that they can do within the shortest possible time if they are willing ).

It’s either cic is waiting for people to get to 5-6 months after medicals passed before they issue ppr or they are waiting for the new year to commence ppr rain
