Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone,

Wondering if I can get some advice, I’m sponsoring my husband and we are a Feb 2018 applicants with the London Visa office. We both currently live in the UK, but I will be moving back to Canada in 2 weeks as I am currently pregnant and will wait for him in Canada. We got a letter from them last week asking for more documentation, we need to supply more proof I will be intending on moving to Canada after he gets PR.

My first question is, how do we go about asking for an extension, as some of the documents will take longer to get than the 30 day time span they gave us?

Secondly, would anyone know of a way for me to prove to them I will be home for good in Canada in two weeks? I know they don’t care much for one-way plane ticket proofs.

Where will you be staying? Do you have bank accounts in Canada? Apply for some jobs in Canada (I know you are pregnant, but it’s proof you are returning.....serves a purpose). Letter from family and friend talking about your return....

Thank you for your reply! I will be living at my parents house until me husband hopefully comes. And yes I do have a bank in Canada.
It’s frustrating because originally we supplied a letter to them from my parents (who both work for the government) saying that we both will be living with them and they will pay for any bills until we are settled, and also I supplied a letter saying my old employer will hire me back upon my return to Canada. I don’t know what else to give them!
