Representative cancellation

Hello friends,
I have an open PR application in process now. I would like to cancel the representative as they seem not caring and slow .
My main issue is that they created my express entry profile and submitted my PR application on behalf of me and i don't have access to any of them. I came to know that i can submit a form to cancel My representative but i do have some questions;

Is their any risk to this specially that my PR application is going well so far? can they do anything nasty?
Does the cancellation include EE profile if i want it for any reason in the future?

If i submitted the cancellation form, what are the steps and the response time from CIC?

Could you please help in this urgent matter.

You need to send the same form you included for appointment of rep, just this time fill the cancellation section. There’s no harm and CIC will delink profile from their portal and provide you with access.

Personally, now that it’s submitted you should let them handle until a decision is made. There’s not much left to be done now except potential ADR which I hope your consultant/lawyer will respond in a timely manner.

For peace of mind you can contact CIC and get an automated status of your application.

Thanks for your reply. In fact, I ordered GCMS notes and I found out that my wife nationality is wrong and I asked them to correct it and they didn't do anything for two weeks. I also expected a baby within a fee weeks and I have to inform CIC . That is why I need to cancel it. So, for express entry, CIC will delink it as well .
Also how can I apply for this auto update .

In that case go ahead. At least you will have total control over your application.

Just call CIC Ottawa and follow instructions to enter your application ID. The status message will let you know the present stage of application and if there is a pending ADR.

Thanks again. For peace of min, can they do anything bad? What about express entry profile? Is it now locked and they can't do anything ? Or I will get control on it ?

EE profile gets locked at APR. They shouldn’t do anything nasty, I don’t think they can but cannot say with certainty. Stay positive and you can even inform your consultant that you no longer wish to continue availing their services.

Hi! I also have same situation, I currently have a representative looking after my profile. But i do not trust them, They are too bust to tell me my status. I want to keep an eye on my profile. Is it safe to cancel a representative during the process of my application. Please advice.

I submitted the request through the web forms and attached the cancellation form. IRCC immediately linked my application with my account. Don't worry. no one can do anything wrong.

I am sorry, i don,t really remember. But it is either Canada\express entry or CPC-Ottawa

-I'm in the process of sacking my representative. When you said IRCC linked you your account you mean including the password and all necessary access tools?

-When i go to web forms i'm asked whether my application is processed in a visa office outside or inside Canada. How can i tell?

You need to create an account on IRCC website. After longing, you will submit the Representative cancellation form. They will link your PR application to your account and you will be having a full access including express entry. However, EE is locked.

I selected in Canada when i made it as the process was in CPC-Ottawa
