Hello Guys,

I have a question regarding IELTS. I was wondering if it is good to choose a test center equipped with a high-quality sound system or the Test center with headphones. As listening points have a major impact on CRS point.

Can anyone share their experience?

It’s a personal preference. I did it with headphones and it went fine. Some candidates prefer speakers.

will there be any disturbance from other candidates or difficulty understanding ascents while listening through the speaker?

Headphones are the best. there are high chances of missing few details especially spellings and following long lectures in case of speakers.

Avoiding any kind of disturbance is the best way to excel at listening. having speakers would be the exact opposite loud and noisey

If you ask for my opinion, I would suggest you go ahead with the test center that have headphones.

Yes. I did once for my academic few years back and it was a chaos. People cough sneeze and make all kinds of noise. Avoid it.
