It means you should get the passport within 1-3 days depending on where you live. I guess you must have applied for student visas. Did you receive any email ?

If you submitted your passport upfront - it means either refusal or approval.

If you have submitted it recently say up to a week or two weeks back it's approval.

It is likely decision has already been taken on your application for study permit. You can expect your passport which you have provided while submitting your application to Visa application centre or VFS. there are two type option generally given to the applicant. 1. You can give your address to get processed passport at your home
2. At VFS from where you have applied. From where you need to collect your processed passport.

It means they sent your passport from Visa office to Application centre where you submitted you application.
In my experience if you didn’t receive any email(if you wrote one on application) then it’s an approval, Most of the time for refusal they send a refusal email for approval they don’t in many cases.
That is in my experience, i have applied many applications for my self and seen in my family’s applications

Don't worry. Most probably your Visa is confirmed as one of the members has received today the exact email like you have received one. He just posted that he got the Visa. User is @mayankk1991

You can also confirm from your side as well by asking him.

Applied on 24 Sep Chandigarh VFS
No file number or any updates received
approval email on 24 Nov
It was second time for her, First time her application was rejected
