I have just got an event scheduled saying that my application was approved and we have to visit a visa office before 2018/12/22. I hope everyone in this forum get your PR soon.
Here is my timeline:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on March 8, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 12, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on April 13, 2017.
4. Medical results have been received.
5. We sent you correspondence on December 14, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
6. DM: Oct 18, 2018
7. Event scheduled: Nov 20, 2018

Did they not give you a specific date to come for interview? You are allowed to choose date at your convenience before dec 22nd?

I want to apply NB PNP with Employer support. I have one year of Canadian Full time IT company experience (NOC Skill B). My employer filled up all the required forms for this program.

I have few years of Teaching experience in engineering colleges back in my country (India). So during my Visitor visa application mentioned those colleges details with dates. When i was trying to apply for NB PNP PR application, they are asking to include Original reference letters of all employers from the last 10 years.

I don't have one college experience letter instead i have only offer letter from that college. and i have rest of all other college experience letters. If i give my original experience letters, i wont be having those if i go back to india and continue with the Teach profession.
Could you please advise what to be done in this case.

1) Is there any alternative instead of including my originals along with my PR application ?
2) I dont have one of the college experience letter, So can i avoid mentioning that college during that i can mention as unemployed ? ( CIC or NB govt will cross check with my Visitor visa application details ?)

Please reply to my questions and help me.

Section(s) of the Act applied (if applicable): 21 The detection, prevention or suppression of subversive or hostile activities, 26 information about another individual


Wonder if you guys who order gcms note email have this sentence??
why cic is treating me like a terrorist.....OMFG thats really frustraited

Hi there,
I applied NB Skilled Worker with Employer Support. I think you should contact your past employers and ask them to issue a form confirming that you worked for them in the past with the following information and the companies stamp. The format may be variety depends on companies. That is what I did for my application.
1)Timeframe
2)Position/job title
3)Responsibilities.
4)Salary (if possible)

Hi,

That's normal; it basically says that you are under security check. My friend had the same sentence in the email and got his PPR in less than 16 months. My note also had same sentence. April 2017 applicant here.

So this is the second time they requested your job letter? I see the first time they requested it in June 2018. I'm sure you will receive PPR very soon. They must be tying up all the loose ends now before DM. Good luck, and please keep us updated!
