Hi All,

I've received my ITA and I'm currently in the process of collecting all the documents.

I was previously employed with a company named "BlackBird IT Private Limited". The company also goes by the name "Sigman", which is basically the trading name. All the email domains, websites, marketing, sales etc go by "sigman.com".

In my application, I've mentioned my employer as "BlackBird IT Private Limited". However, in the reference letter that the company gave me, it says: "Sigman - BlackBird IT Private Limited".

It seems like a acceptable discrepancy to me. Has any of you been is such a situation? Please suggest if I'd need a fix for this.

Thank You

I don't think there's any issue with this.
You can write a Letter of explanation to explain exactly what you've written here.

Mention this in LOE and you are good to go if both the names are mentioned together in reference letter.

Thank you. Much appreciated.
Just wondering, in case I don't provide a LOE, would the be Officer be considerate enough to ask for further clarification? Or is it something that's upto the Officer's discretion.

Everything is at the officer's discretion. It's in your best interest to submit any document that will remove doubts from his mind about the completeness of your application.
