Improving CRS score

Hi folks!

Can someone please help me out with this...I wish to emigrate to canada and am going to sign up for an MA-english or sociology degree with IGNOU to improve my CRS score. can someone tell me this degree's WES equivalency report??Do they recognise this ? If yes, then as a masters or just an additional degree?

It probably won't be recognized as a Masters degree. You may want to consider another study program

I wish I could do an MCA to claim the extra 6 points for a masters degree (in my knowledge). However, my job wouldn't permit me to attend the practical classes involved so my only option here seems to be to at least bag an additional degree since I am well below 30 and would be having 3+ years of work experience by the time I apply so as to have a CRS of 471 provided I do well in IELTS.

My primary concern here is if I opt for an MA - English or Sociology from IGNOU then these courses are at the least recognized by WES as an additional degree right?
I did check out their degree equivalency tool though and it yields the result to be equivalent to a Canadian bachelors degree but the say not to consider it final as the actual report may vary.
It would be really helpful if someone here who has been through these courses could share their report.
