You dont need a foreign work experience for CEC but I hope you get accepted this time around.

Points will be added for 3 Years of Foreign work Experience in CEC process.

Hey guys, Nishita here.

I received AOR on 3 Sept 18
MEP on 28 Sept 18.
However I am stuck there since then!

Sorry for the noob question, but is there any place I can know how far away I am in the queue?
or any idea what are the timelines I should expect?

The timeline is 6 months. If you want to track your application, you can request GCMS notes. They help you know at what stage your application is and any concerns that may be there.

The MyCIC status message or IP, IP2 is irrelevant.

All applications go through the following stages:

R10
Criminality
Medicals
Eligibility
Security

I was told to submit a notarized affidavit which stated all various combinations of my first name, last name on various documents and a declaration that all above mentioned name is a single person that is me (and my name as per passport) as a supporting document.
PS: this was a request from my agent who I hired just to verify my documents before submission.
 
I got my AOR on september 17th and cleared medical on 11th October... The status is still in progress.. Background check hasn't started.. Am I alone in this situation????
