CRS points 439 good enough?

Hi.
I get 439 points along with spouse and im applying as Financial Manager. IELTS CLB 9
Is the CRS score OK please? What are my chances?

Not to put down your hopes mate, but, the chances are very bleak, given the fact that the score has not breached the 440 level throughout the year.

It would be highly recommended that you max out your IELTS score.

I'd try increasing that IELTS score. The way things have gone this year, 439 doesn't seem likely.

Thank you. My worry is what if ielts score is lower when I repeat? Im reading mixed answers some say say latesy is valid and some say you can use which ever you like

I created my profile in Dec '17 with score of 439. It seemed to be a good score then but by April i realized that i am not going to make it and hence reappeared for IELTS which got my score to 443. ITA happened in the very next draw.

440 has been the lowest in a longtime now. I would therefore suggest to try better 439 and be advised if you are around your birthday month already, 5 points will get deducted on your birthday. So don't loose time and give your best shot.

You can use whichever you would like to claim as long as it is still valid (less than 2 years old)

Please try to max out your IELTS score with a CLB 10 since 439 won’t give you an ITA. The score never dropped below 440 since a year and is expected to go higher. And no, you don’t have to use your latest score. You can use your best valid score.
