Online Account and Status Checking

Hi one and All

Has anyone had problems linking their paper application to their online ? i can not get the system to find either my spousal sponsorship application or my extension application for my temporary status. (paper apps were sent September 20th)

if this way fails how can i check the status of the applications? is there a number

i ideally want to check the visa extension one as i need to know if extension has been approved and i can leave and re -enter the country...

For your spousal sponsorship application once you get AOR you will have a UCI and can link it. Sometimes you can link it using passport details before AOR, but it's occasionally hit and miss. A month and a half is a little on the short side - they may not have entered it into ECAS yet.

For your visa extension - I don't know if you can link it online. You may wish to ask in the Visitors to Canada (TRV) forum.

Yeah as he said it's too early but continue trying. I had no AOR nothing but I was successful logged in to Ecas by putting Payment Receipt number + sponsors details here:-
