My LRWS : I need CLB 10 for 441 currently stuck at 438

Attempt 1 - 8.5/8.5/7.5/7 - Speaking EOR to get 7.5 - No Change
Attempt 2 - 8.5/9/7.5/7- Speaking EOR to get 7.5 - No Change
Attempt 3 - 9/9/7/7.5 - Writing EOR to get 7.5 - Awaiting result (Almost 4 weeks now since EOR confirmation)
Attempt 4 - Result delayed because of some quality control cr@p

I am getting a feeling that British Council (India) is messing with me

3rd EOR result out - No change (BC India) - took exactly 4 weeks (writing)

Almost everyone got an increase from 6.5. Every time I needed an increase from 7 to 7.5 in speaking or writing, never getting it.

BC have been f*cking with me for a long time now. I am really tired of writing and waiting just to get depressed at the end.

Delayed result of my fourth test not yet received (not very hopeful).

Will be writing once more in December and I am going to stop writing IELTS.

CRS jumped from 418 to 472 !

I was really hopeful on my writing part. But i also felt that my speaking wasn't as bad as i was scored, since i had been scoring an 8+ in all the past attempts. Gave it a shot with speaking too and result was positive.

This was my 5th attempt and my worst nightmare was to get a 7 on the writing module, which i had been missing on every attempt by 0.5.
I was very skeptical about the EoR outcome but thanks to this thread, it gave me a lot of positive vibes about the process & i applied.
REST IS HISTORY!

Guys! If you have followed a good writing structure ''proper paragraphing , parapharasing in the intro, each task qualifies to be a separate para and finally concluding with a strong hold on your opinion / answer whatever the objective is", and still if you end up getting a 6.5 or 6, then give it for EoR. Don't think!

Just go for it. ( Not sure for people scoring a 6 & expecting a 1 band increase, becuz i don't think , the markers are that bad in scoring.) Difference of 0.5 is pure subjective error that you can score it back through EoR, IF YOU WERE GOOD with the task.

Would you mind telling me how the EOR process is? I have already send them all documents already. As per the courier tracking, it's delivered to BC 2 days ago. But I didn't get any kind acknowledgement mail from BC till now. Do they send such kind of acknowledgement mail to us when they receive the documents?

Its not showing a change online yet. I got the updated trf today morning.

hi,

Nope they wouldn send any acknowledgement ( i did not receive one). If BC has received your TRF from UK, then its a matter of few days, before you receive it at home directly. Have patience.

I didn't want to apply for speaking but the IDP guy insisted and so I did. I just need 7 in writing. Does it mean that the result will be out late? Coz I applied for speaking too?

Yes I too have applied for EOR for the exam on 13th October. I applied for revaluation on 2nd Nov though.

Awaiting eor results.. this is my 7th time sitting for the exam. I have got 6.5 for writing continuously and this time I was determined to apply for recorrection so I did soon as I got the TRF in hand. This thread gives me hope. But I totally understand the frustration of others who is stuck in the writing part.

It will take 2-4 weeks irrespective of the no. of modules that you have applied
