Hi guys, my visa is expiring April 2019 after a 4 year work visa.

My gf and I are considering common law.

How long into the application will a Open work permit take to be approved?

I resd the whole process is around 1 year does that mean the owp takes 1 year aswell?

Four months after you submit a complete inland sponsorship application along with the OWP application.

Also say my gf and I broke up half way through application but i already got my owp does it cancel it when the application is cancelled?

So if the whole process takes 12 momths even if refused you will still have the open work permit till it expires?

What length of permit? 1 year??
