Yes six months from start from R10 check. But honestly there is no “turning up the heat”. Even if they delay all we can do is wait. Its the sad truth. Rijo is in Canada and has made multiple visits to MP’s office and have received no help. If MP office cant help then I don’t think there is much that can be done.

Everything good according to cic guidelines but again they’re unpredictable so I have to take precautions. My work permit in the us is about to end so I have to return to my home country. Does R10 check start when medical pass or IP1? Still waiting for my notes.
Dont worry, you will be just fine. Because of wait our mind plays tricks on us thinking of worst case scenario. Sorry to hear your work permit is terminating . Many are in similar situations where their job is dependent on PR. Just keep in touch with and be in good graces with your colleagues at work. If its a decent company, they should help you out even if you have to leave

But then again, based on luck and past experience if Canada takes 6+ months instead of 3, australia would take 3 years instead of 1.5 years

Today morning i got email fromCIC requesting passport of my wife(dependent) only . Although they forgot to include request for my kid( other dependent) and me as a principle applicatnt .
Anyways i am happy to hear from them . Its has been a long wait .

Hey Harsh. Many congrats mate. You will not get passport email. As I said in a post in morning for inland candidates they now conduct interviews and at the end of the interview you walk out as a PR of Canada. For including your kid just email them and they will rectify it.
