Hi all,
I am very new to these forums.
Can someone explain me that how can out-land spouse application be transferred to Mississauga ?-while in progress.
Shouldn't it be going to PA's local visa office.
I am surprised because Mississauga applicants are getting DM way faster as compare to other VOs.
Is their any special condition for this or just luck ?

If PA is American or case is very straight forward, application will stay in Canada for processing. Although sometimes further in along in the process, they can be sent to PA Visa Office according to the forum. Best to join your PA Visa Office Thread and month of application thread Can be quite helpful

File received in Sydney: July 9th
Additional document request: October 19th UK Police Ceritificate as PA spent a few years working in London
No other updates

My PA is in India, but i have seen some NDVO (India) applications are transferring to Mississauga. i am not sure why ?
In other threads as well people also claimed that their application is transferred to Mississauga.

July 11 SA
July 17 AOR2 (file stays in CPC-M, bc PA is currently residing in the US)
Aug 29 Requested additional document of proof of intent to move back to Canada
Sep 15 additional document uploaded on GCKey
Oct 10 PPR
Oct 11 DM on ECAS
Oct 12 mailed my passport to CPC-Ottawa
Oct 15 Passport received by CPC - Ottawa

Still waiting to get my passport and COPR!
4.5 months waiting from submitting to PPR. What a big relief!

ONLY few selected apps are being transferred to MISSI. And a final quick DM will be made right here, But if Mississauga finds doubts the it is further sent to NDVO which ends up taking more times.
