Hey guys,

Don't know if you all remember my question about 2 weeks ago. It was about my employment letters, they only state that I am a fulltime employee and not how many hours a week I work. I had initially with my application explained in the LOE that fulltime/100% is only and only 40 h/week here. So if you are a fulltime employee no one will ask you how many hours you work.

In any case, 2 weeks ago I contacted all my employers and asked for a new letters that states how many hours I a week I have worked.

Should I submit these new documents even tho I have not been given an ADR? Or should I wait and just have the docs ready in case anyone would ask for clarification?

The reason I am asking is this, I have read that some get rejected due to incomplete info in their application while others get an ADR. So I assume it all has to do with who is your officer.

But I have also read that if you would submit new docs without an ADR, your application process can slow down.

What do you guys think?
Hi, yes i do recollect your post bro. In my opinion, since u have got these revised dox from your employers, u may upload them upfront and also include a clear Loe which eases the task of the case officer by pointing out what is new in these recently uploaded documents.

Let us examine the pros and cons of taking such a step n make a call accordingly.

Pros
-The case officer gets more convinced on genuinity.
-This will eliminate any risk of rejection which is concerned towards the requirement of the reference letters as demanded by cic.
-You wouldnt need to wait or anticipate for an ADR and thus not cause unnecessary delay. Stress/worry free period for u regarding this aspect.
-Incase u get an ADR on a later stage, u may ask urself, why dint i do it earlier before scoring an official prompt.
- if there is any unnecessary review reqd clause mentioned by the case analysts, caused due to the initial miss out on working hours, it will get sorted out easily.

Cons
Additional time taken for reviewing these docs cannot be anticipated, can be anywhere from 2 days to the whole 6 months process time.

The process can slow down or even reject your file if necessities arent met either...

If you buzz the IRCC client support centre agents and check the status of eligibility, if they say it is met/recommened passed by the case analyst, remember it is yet to be approved by the case officer.
The case officer assesses your file and makes the final call , once he gets all the reports from case analysts and security departments. If the tides arent in your favor, then the case officer can choose to ask for an ADR or reject the application directly for not meeting any specific requirement although case analysts has given a thumbs up on criterias.

If I were u, i would upload these docs, as it eliminates risk/complications and the pros outweigh the cons.

Aor aug 7
Medical pass, no further update
What could be the reason?
Background check has not started yet
Hi, my details are in my signature. I am aug 3rd and my background check hasnt started yet. Understanding the way they function can get a bit wirey as I think they dont have a specific order. To them it is just another file no. Or UCI code but to us its about our future, security and aspirations.

How do u know IP2?

My AOR is 28th Aug and BG status is 'we are processing your background check' since day 1
IP1 is when BG status “ Your application is in Progress. We will let you know once the background check begins”

IP2 is “We are processing your background check”

I had IP1 status since 27 or 28 September
Then on 2nd Nov it changed to IP2

My BG status shows, "we are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information" since 29th Aug, is it IP1/NA1/IP2?
