Same day when they finalise your report, they will send you an email confirming that pdf is available to download.

My spouse's ECA is due by 27th Nov. They have already accepted the documents.
Since we know how the format of the report number will look like, how risky is it to update my EE profile now itself with that number. The reason being, this will get me ITA for sure in this week's draw

No, you can't. You must wait for WES report to be issued. EE profile asks for the date of evaluation. I don't believe you are supposed to write a future date in there.

I am on the same boat. They received my documents on Oct 30th and changed status same day.
They updated same status again on Nov 6th. Hoping to get status update this week.
they say 20 business days from the day they receive documents which meant I might get my report by 27th. But friend said within 12 to 15 day I may get my report, he did his wes recently.

they just updated the date, don't know why!!
but just now i came across 1 discussion thread. He submitted his documents just 1 day before us and his expected report time is 30 Nov. so we might our report by the same dates. hopefully.
