Proof of Funds for Express Entry|| Fixed Deposit

Hello Member,

I'm at my last step of completing PR application and uploading documents. Need some clarity over few things w.r.t the application. I have found contradicting details on this forum regarding this.
Would appreciate for any solid information regarding the below queries:

1. Passport Document Upload:
I do understand that we need to upload the current valid passport. However, as my travel stamps are on my old passport, is it necessary to upload the old passport as well. I see some members suggest uploading both and some only current. Did anyone get ADR for old passport details?

2. Education Details:
Do we need to upload the Master's and Bachelors Mark sheets as well? I see as per the CIC it says degree certificate alone. Did anyone get ADR for marksheet?

3. Proof of Funds:
I will be showing Fixed Deposit as POF. I will be getting a letter from the Financial Institute stating the details of the FD and the funds are available for any given time + FD Receipts.
Do we still need to upload last 6 month bank statement + Credit card details etc.

You have found contradictory answers then a new answer here will again be contradictory, isn't it? Anyway, here are my suggestions to your query-

1. You need to upload only Valid passport and any page with valid visa in old passport. However if the new passport is recently obtained then it is advisable to upload only stamp pages of old passport along with the bio pages of new passport.

2. Upload ECA+Certificates+IELTS [I have seen ADR for ECA and IELTS]. Marksheet/Transcript is not required though I did provide for my app.

3. If your FD is less than six months old then you have to submit six months statement and provide sufficient proof about the source of the fund. If everything is in order then Bank letter and FD certificate are sufficient. In case you submit your bank statement then your closing balance plus FD amount must be above the required amount plus credit card debt. Recently an applicant was rejected due to credit card debt which he did not cover in the final balance. So IRCC deducted the amount from the balance.

Hi,
Hope you are doing well,
I am at the last stage of submitting my application.
just wanted to check if only the Bank letter and FD receipt suffice if the FD is more than 6 months old.
OR
Will I be required to submit bank statements for 6 months as well.
