Can I count my working experience for CEE if I work for employer but not in Canada?? Please help

Hi all,

I am under post graduate work permit now and I still have 2.5 years to end my 3 years working permit. I am currently in Canada. However, I got the offer of a Canadian company and they want me to do business development oversea for 1 year and then come back to Canada. My consideration is if that period of time will be counted as my Canadian working experience so that I can apply for Express Entry next year? It is full time position and my headcount is in Canada( I still pay tax for Canadian goverment and follow all the Canadian policy, but just I will not be physically in Canada.
Please help advise so I can consider to take this job or not?!

They clearly say that:

Have obtained at least one year of skilled, professional or technical work experience in Canada within 36 months

so it's a NO for you.

It is for Federal Skilled worker. I didn’t see it says “in Canada” for Canadian Express Entry. Could you please help double check?

No

have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada, in the last 3 years before you apply. The work was:

• full-time or
• an equal amount in part-time
