TRV Application: Visitor extension or Visitor visa (from inside Canada)?

Hello guys,

So I have successfully renewed my study permit (expiry: 2019) and renewed my passport (expiry: 2027). After I received all these renewed documents, I have applied for a new temporary resident visa as my old TRV expired in July. I am quite confused as to the approximate processing time because CIC states that online application for visitor visas made within Canada take 5 days while online visitor extension applications take 105 days. Under what category does my application classify as? I called the IRCC toll-free hotline, entered my application number and was told that my application will typically take 105 days. Please help me clarify. Thanks

I think it will come under 5 days thing...
Did u apply for TRV? if so when? and whats the status now?
I have my flights booked for 14th Dec and still waiting for my PGWP and then I'll apply for TRV... little worried :-(
