Additional Verification cic --- Need Help

Hello,

I have received this email from CIC-Ottawa. "Your file is currently under review and requires additional verification. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times"

I am extremely worried and I don't know what does it mean? I have applied under Canadian Experience Class and I received AOR on July 7th 2018. I contacted CIC on on 12 Oct regarding an application status and they sent me this message which I mentioned above.

anyone has an idea what does it mean and what is going on in my application... please help...

I receive this as well, but I am in Express Entry, got my COPR then re-submitted for status change (Marriage) on 1st June. Waiting for GCMS notes.

I have not applied yet for GCMS Notes? I will wait until 7th of November which is tomorrow because by that time my four month will be completed. This Friday I am gonna apply. My work permit is also getting expire by 12 Jan 2019. Do you have any idea is there last date to apply BOWP?

DO you need to leave the country if your work permit expires and you do not have PR still? No idea about BOWP, what is it?

BOWP---means Bridge Open Work Permit... while you are waiting for your PR application, you are eligible to apply for BOWP that helps someone to maintain his/her status in Canada... I am gonna wait until 10th of Dec 2018, then I must apply. It has been four month since I applied for PR.

Additional verification means security screening and this will take time. Relax and wait for their response..

No it is only for inland applicant, those who have currently on open work permit.
