I have recently applied for a temporary visa under the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Project. I had already received a job offer in Canada and an endorsement letter from a Canadian Province so at the Canadian embassy they gave me a W-1 kind of visa. My wife who applied for an open work permit also received this kind of visa.
As we have to apply for a permanent residence we are planning on doing this in Canada. My doubt is that reading the Document Checklist – Atlantic Immigration Work Permits for applicants outside Canada (imm5653e) I found the following text:
"You must submit your application for permanent residence with 90 days of applying for a work permit. "
My doubt is about the exact meaning of the 90days of applying for a work permit and when do they start to count.
These are the facts:
I applied for visa on June 28th
I received the visa on July 10th
I would like to go to Canada in September 15th.
After which of these dates must I count the beginning of the 90 days?
