Most April folks waiting are FSW I candidates. I saw a few on March thread also awaiting. I didn’t think that its connected to the stream but it appears so and its weird. Whether it is true or not will become apparent when we start seeing movement in June guys. Nov 15 is my guess based on the previous trend. Lets hope for the best. I wish April guys wait also ends soon. Its so bad on CIC part to keep people waiting on their whims when their applications are simple and straightforward.
I was under the impression that 'I' (Inland) and 'O' (Outland) don't matter much because the security tests in anyways won't take too long for most nationals. However, the stream might matter as CEC guys could easily get their eligibility tests cleared as IRCC, I assume, have an easy access to the Canadian employers. Having said that the eligibility is one of the longest tests of the application, CEC guys are likely to get the PPR sooner than their counterparts from any other stream.
However, looking at the recent trends for FSW-I, in general at any VO, seems disappointments for inland candidates. On immitracker I see 5 cases (out of 13 who got their PPR in the last two months) that took more than 200 days for them to get the PPR emails. Not sure is it just a coincident that suddenly we see many cases with >6 months for the FSW-I or there is a reason behind this.
Let's hope that we have good news in coming weeks for FSW-I guys at Montreal!
