Lost PR Card, Can I apply for a new one?

Hi,

I lost my wallet a week ago, with that I lost my PR card as well, I searched it everywhere cause initially I thought Its at home somewhere but its not PR card is lost with my wallet, I reported the incident to the police yesterday and after that I informed CIC using the Web Form Inquiry on the there website which included my Police complaint no as well

I became PR in April 2016 , but i spent 6 months out of country since than, but I was eligible to apply for Citizenship in August 2018 (International Student), so I applied for the Citizenship, but so far no AOR recieved.

Can i apply for New PR card now? am I in under any risk of loosing my PR Status?

Also, I checked on CIC website current processing time for new PR card is 106 days, which is too long for I had planned my vacations in December, is there anyway I can recieve my PR Card soon. My whole vacation plan will be ruined otherwise.

There is one more thing, I was planning to apply for a Super Visa for my Parents, will it effect that too?

Yes you can apply for a replacement. You can include your travel documents and ask for urgent processing, but there is no guarantee they will expedite processing.

But can my parents still apply for the Supper Visa? I have copies of my lost PR card can they use it apply for the Supper Visa?

Why do you need a pr card to apply for super visa?

The old PR card will be voided and you therefore can't use it's copies for anything.

I found my lost wallet and PR card, I asked CIC they told me it was never deactivated so i can still use it.....
