Employer's policy not to give roles & responsibilities on letterhead

Hello all,

I work with Govt of india and in the pipe line of submitting my post ita docs . I got an experience certificate from the office stating my designation and NOC (Mechanical Engineer) .

Without proper job roles and responsibilities

Without Duty hours (where as a full time employee has been mentioned in the experience certificate)

Now am in doubt whether to submit my application like this ..... please suggest

And no senior colleague will give a reference letter to me stating my roles and responsibilities

You put a great effort not only in concreting your application but also in stating the efforts made by you on the thread .

It will be of great help for other aspirants like me .....but dear my prime concern is i cant even have any referral from the big fishes of my organisation u know the indian govt houses

I have all the supporting docs like service book my selection list (news paper cutting) everything but i cant make them to state my roles and responsibilities in the experience certificate ...

Please help if you know any other person had faced the same problem and have successfully managed to get ppr

Try to find a web posting for the same or similar role you were in, on the job site of the company you worked for. If you do find something like that, you take a pdf of the posting, and share the weblink on your LOE. Apart from that I'm assuming you have sent multiple emails to HR/Supervisors of your company. If you havent yet already, do that. And attach the transcripts of those emails (even if you did not get a response) along with your LOE.

But we dont have any email system developed at our organisation u know here we have old "chitthi" to state our calls and grievances

Try to find a web posting for the same or similar role you were in, on the job site of the company you worked for. If you do find something like that, you take a pdf of the posting, and share the weblink on your LOE. Apart from that I'm assuming you have sent multiple emails to HR/Supervisors of your company. One of my previous employer has clearly refused to give me anything on letterhead or even official e-mail. I need my roles and responsibilities on a letterhead ideally but that is far from happening.

I am sure that I am not the only one sailing in this boat and some of you may have faced this issue before.

I will attach pay slips, contracts, relieving letter, resignation acceptance etc but how can I serve the purpose of showing my job description for immigration purposes and claiming points.

Please suggest. A senior management employee has agreed to write a letter for me. Should this be on a Stamp paper where that person declares info to be true?

Please suggest how to overcome this issue.

the same issue with me- it seems like you worked for Wipro. I know a common friend who just got his PR -he simply wrote an explanation letter and got his PR. I did the same thing - since without Indian experience my points were 457 and with Indian experience 480, I applied in November 2019 and still waiting for a response. I provided the email communications where they refused to provide me job roles and duties, relieving letter, and paystubs. I hope it works for me too, else I have to go back since my visa expires in July 2020.

Dont worry, my company did the same thing. So i printed them on plain paper and get it stamped from HR. one of my senior did same and got his pr so i dont think it'd cause any problem.

My issue is - Wipro’s HR won’t stamp on anything and I am living in Canada so I cannot even go to India - on top of that I left that company in 2014 and loved here in 2015- everyone who worked me has resigned and company has changed its office location. I am screwed - hope I get a generous Visa Officer

oh you'll have to explain all that in LOE. i dont see any other option left
