I have called Ottawa.
Background check went to "processing" last week.
Called them this week.
Eligibility met, background cleared and now in security clearance.

Please share the number you reach them out...what way you reached them out...some says use Skype...some Google hangout...what did u prefer to reach out...??

before, I have been using ******** (8digits) of UCI #, then when I got my AOR, it has changed to CAN0000********

My file is also at the BG check stage.
I called IRCC today early morning IST.and got to speak to a very good agent who was kind enough to tell me whats happening with my file. By the way, I'm FSW-O.
My eligibility was cleared at Ottawa. Once my BG started, my file was sent to Sydney. Criminality is passed. All thats left is Security which hasnt started yet.

Had a word with the agent yesterday, she said we do not have information about your visa office (surprising)

I have completed 85 days but still the BGC not started. Hope to have some clarity by 16th nov, since I am expecting my GCMS notes by that time.

I've called them thrice since my AOR and I've always used google hangouts. You need a hell lot of patience though. You may not reach them at the first go.

i had the same doubt. The UCI you have (8 Digit) is still your UCI. I was wondering what was happening. I received my BOWP and had the 8 digit UCI on it not the one with CAN0000 etc. Hope it helps

I guess PNP application takes time about 4-6 month by seeing trends on forum.
There is nothing much we can do!

hey! well i am more on the lucky side where i have family living in toronto so i dont have much to do except reach to canada! when i arrive then i'll look for the same as everyone :
1. job
2. mobile network
3. drivers license

i really cant do much with those things right now except research

I want to know if I choose to speak to an agent what information he will ask to give me the details?

I have my application number but not sure about the login id used by my consultant.

What are your plans? Considerations are different if it's a larger family vs. singletons or couples.

Single.

I have a number of batchmates who just moved there. I will start contacting them once I get the PPR.

I am looking at the job profiles that I want to apply, so if there is something I could add to my resume, I have time to do it.
Going through landing experiences of people,etc.

I'm sorry, I should've added that info too.

Once you're connected to an agent, quote your Application Number.
The agent will ask you,
1. Full Name
2. Date of Birth
3. Country of Birth/Residence
4. Phone Number
5. Email id
6. Address

4,5,6 - The agent may just confirm with you
