ITA - Oct 29th draw

Hey guys!

I have my profile up since Aug 31st. I've been trying to get my IELTS grade up, and finally done it.

Last Friday (Oct 26th) I received my TRF from IELTS and updated my profile. Now I have 458 points.

The draw yesterday was 442 points cutoff and so far (more than 24 hours have passed) I have still not received the ITA.

Does updating my profile on Friday means I have not been in the pool for this last draw or would I still be waiting for my ITA right now?

Did you update and transmit those changes? You need to hit transmit once you make any changes. Just to double check

However, I've found this information and I'm not sure if I understood it right:

"IRCC used its tie-break rule in this latest invitation round. The date and time used was October 16, 2018, at 06:09:04 UTC. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 442, as well as those candidates with scores of 442 who submitted their profile before October 16, 2018, at 06:09:04 UTC, received an ITA in this invitation round."

Does this mean that I had to have updated my profile before or on Oct 16? Or is it just the tie-breaking?

If the case is that I had to have enough points on Oct 16th, it makes sense and I will wait for the next draw. If not, I will contact IRCC.

This tie breaker rules applies to those having CRS equal to ITA cut off score; in this draw 442. Anyone with CRS higher than 442 and active in pool should get ITA.
