Spousal sponsorship

Hi
I applied for spousal sponsorship and paid all the fees except biometrics.
I recieved e-mail from cic asking me to submit my biometric fees with the file application number.
I paid it the same day.
I got confirmation from cic that it has been forwarded to the concerned office.
I asked cic that i am unable to connect my application to my online account.
They say that processing has not yet been started.
How long does it take to start processing. Now the time is 12 months. Does it start from the day they recieve the application. They say that they will send an e-mail once started processing. Any advise?

When did they receive ur application? And Outland application?

Hamid, Did you you apply for In-land or Outland, and U did not write any dates or timeline..
There are few threads for both almost for all months and all categories. May do a search from right top

Hi It is outbound and file was recieved on 13/09/2018
I recieved e-mail from cic with my application number that I did not pay my biometrics fees on 02/10/2018 which was paid the same day.

13 SEPT very lucky to get 1st email AOR There are ppl waiting over 100days to hear anything at all. We need patience and somethings will be updated soon . When? No one can answer 4 sure.
