Prospective Student for January, May, and September 2019 Intake Gather Here For Question and Answer

i have applied for Canada student visa on 22 October 2018 for January 2019 through cic gc key website and i fall in SDS category, till yet a week has passed i have got no updates on my cic gc key profile or any email. Has some one here who has also applied yet but still not got any updates?
glad your masters is course work based, am striving to find a supervisor and thereafter be able to apply
Helow people I have one querry.
My plan is to do a PhD or Research Masters (I have another thesis based masters from Australia). However, to maximise my chances to guarantee my plan I want to apply a 1year masters and thereafter get to a PhD.
Is this pathway promising?

I have submitted my third application since 28th August and until now no single update.
Does this delay mean any kind of approval?
They already exceeded the normal processing time which was 9 weeks.
I have contacted them via IRCC WEBFORM ,they replay as following :

12th : 70%
10th : 87%
IELTS : 7.5 (L-9.0,R-8.0,W-6.5,S-7.0)
Work Experience : Nearly 1 Year as Software Engineer

What are my chances in getting admit from one of these universities, and what are the other universities where i should apply to get a sure admit?
