Date of qualification to practice (occupation)

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on my express entry profile, and this is what it's asking me:

"
If the "primary occupation" is:
a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)"

I worked 1 year as a line cook, thus falling under 6322 (Cooks). However I did not go to college for culinary, I studied tourism and hospitality. Does that mean that I would have to put my high school graduation date as the date I became qualified?

Check what is the minimum requirement in NOC page and enter as appropriate. From a quick look, it looks like minimum requirement is secondary school.
