Employment allowed after PR granted?

Hi, I was reading that an LMIA is required to add a valid employment offer during the ITA phase to increase CRS points.

If you're unable to establish a job offer, but receive your PR are there restrictions on the type of work you can do? I.e. self employed vs employed, for a specific duration after receiving PR status?

The whole purpose of having PR is to not have restrictions. You're free to do whatever job you like.
