Can anyone tell how much time it takes to get PCC from Passport Seva Kendra after the appointment date in India?

I see that appointments are not easily available at the website, but we have only 60 days to submit our application post ITA.

So what to do?

Recently, I got within 17 days and my wife within 7 days after our appointment.

Our addresses were not the same as the passport.

So can we book for PCC before ITA or can we book only when we get an ITA?

I mean if we are sure that we are going to get an ITA at the next draw having a high score and draw happens at the most after 15 days from the recent draw.

So can we book 10 to 15 days beforehand or not?

yes get it in advance if you are sure of getting an ITA.

You can do so provided your passport office does not demand ITA

Dear All,

Require your help on urgent basis.

I am living presently in X city of Gujarat State in India and my homwtowh is Y city of Gujarat State in India.

I am going to apply in Canada PR and in Background check form they are asking personal history and last 10 year Residence history.

Shall I take PCC from my hometown PSK as my passport is on hometown address and I don't have any residence proof of my current city address?

And if I will take PCC from hometown PSK then can it will create any problem in my PR application as I mentioned different city as a current residence city?

Please help and guide urgently.

I went to my local PSK for PCC and was literally laughed off saying that I need to have a freaking visa to Canada or atleast a work permit to get my PCC done. Can anybody confirm that we can get PCC done with our ITA?

i lived at 3 places during my study period and SSP of one of the cities refused to give PCC as I don't have identification proof of that address such as adhaar card (which is of my permanent address)
Could anyone suggest what to do???

Technically you don't even need an ITA to get PCC. That person is a full of shit. You can't get visa w/o PCC. Go again and see if you can get a saner person or complain about him.

You don't need PCC from every city so I don't know why you're trying to do that. Plus you need to apply PCC in a PSK and not from SSP.

My previous application was cancelled bcoz I submitted pcc from my permanent address only . I did not get it frm psk as my consultant advised no need of that. Now m waiting for next draw nd simultaneously collecting pcc from other addresses too.

So you did mistake once for not taking PCC from PSK and rather than taking PCC from PSK you want to commit another mistake by trying to get multiple PCCs. How can anyone help you if you don't want to listen?

I was of the same opinion but then again that happened at PSK and felt stupid. anyway thanks for confirming. Makes my life a bit easier.
