Then why, on your initial PR application, did you say you had been divorced?

Or is that an error?
This is quite a conundrum, isn't it? Either way, misrepresentation was committed in one of the applications.

If one says they're divorced in applications that aren't in the family class (such as Canadian experience or express entry), do they then not have to provide a divorce certificate? Because it seems OP said they were divorced, didn't have to provide any proof of it (obviously as they don't have any) and now the truth came out.

I didn't.t I call to CIC to ask my 2011 PR application and the agent told me I will take 30 days which call AIP
It's a shame you don't have a copy of your initial application.

In the meantime you should consider hiring a lawyer. You need to make a statement to CIC saying that you did not report yourself as previously married and divorced and hope that your application doesn't say that and that the CIC officer is in error here.

You may way to find a way to apply for a certificate of no marriage from your home country, though I understand that may be impossible.

The big question is why CIC thinks you said you had been divorced when you applied in 2011.

Yeah, that confuses me. If CIC accepted an application from a divorced person, they would typically request a divorce certificate, I thought.

IRCC *do* make serious errors from time to time. This could be one of these.
Get an immigration lawyer to assist you with proving that this is an IRCC mistake?

So what I should now, please
I would encourage you to hire a lawyer. You have a very good chance here that CIC has made a significant error, but you need professional support and advice. At the very least you need to make some sort of a statutory declaration that you believe, to the best of your knowledge, that you did not submit that you had been married and divorced, but that's risky without seeing the application.

It says have you been married which I say no
and I don.t see anything like married or divorce
And you don't fill in dates of a previous relationship or otherwise indicate that you've been divorced?

You really need to talk to a lawyer.

I think it's probably safest for me to stop giving advice here - I'm not a lawyer and I cannot give legal advice. I think you need to seek professional support here!

can understand that English is an extraordinarily complicated language and it's not an easy one to learn. But if the OP can kindly just share the email from IRCC we can read it and determine the issue, rather than attempting to discern it from confusing messages that miss details.
GREAT knowledge , Thanks

Because they think you did. You need a lawyer at this point to help you prove that you did not submit that you were. And you need to be absolutely completely certain that you did not in any way imply you were divorced on any of your forms.
