Hey, how is it going guys?

I have received a COPR yesterday. Unfortunately, I found two misprints in my COPR.

1. Place of birth: my city's last two letters were missing.
2. Last entry date: they entered the original first entry date instead of the recent entry date.

Can I make these amendments at a Port of Entry while landing?

I don't want to send my passport and COPR back to Ottawa to get this fixed.

Please advice me on these issues.

Thanks
Hi Wrett. The problems you are experiencing look like a delicate issue. Do not take chances. I would call CIC to ask them what to do. Did you call them?

Hey Wrett,

Don’t worry ! I have same issue with Original entry date. I called cic. They asked me to amend the document. I asked at bordr too , they denied to changed anything on COPR.

But , you can go to any IRCC office without appointment or with appointment ( up to you) to change dates. They will do that.

Just FYI everyone (it’s actually quite envious) a friend of my friend got his PPR on August 27, 2018 and though I do not know his exact timeline yet, he had applied in September 2017 and got his AOR in October 27.

So yes, less than a year of processing time. Wow.

Hi! Does it usually take that long between the PPR and the COPR? It took almost 2 months after he sent his passport to get the PR?

Mine is the same. I think we are waiting for the last step-security screen.

Everything fine. You need to wait at least three or four months from now before you get PPR.
