Hi There,

My name is Darshit and I am looking for any suggestions for open province where I can apply for immigration and settle down. I have already created my express entry profile and I am having CRS score 416. I am not sure which province are open for my job code and/or suitable to my profile. My information is as below:
CRS- 416
Job NOC-2171
Qualifications-Masters in business administration and Bachelors in Computer Engineering
IELTS CLB -8
Age-30

Spouse Details:
Job NOC-1111
Qualifications-Chartered Accountant (as per WES, Double Bachelors, one with 4 years and other with 3 years)
IELTS CLB -6
Age-27

Many thanks in advance.

Since you have a bachelor degree in Computer Engineering you can basically settle wherever you want. IT is the golden bachelor degree in Canada. My friends who hold this degree didn't have to take minor jobs because in Canada regardless your experience and education you must have to have Canadian Experience. I have 9 years work experience in Journalism. I worked for the main newspaper in my country and I have two 2 graduate programs (one master degree from my country in Communications and another one from Canada in Marketing management) and despite of that I had to start from scratch. I made the mistake that I didn't work while I was studying. I thought that my education and work experience will lead me to an awesome job without having hardships. Wrong! Your case is different because you are from IT.

I would say depends of what you want. If you want to have a big house and a fancy car move to Winnipeg. However, you must have to know that it is soooooooooo cold and very quiet like a small town. It is good for someone who wants to raise a family and it is not thinking too much about having fun. However, if you want to settle in a cool city with lots of opportunities go all the way to Toronto. The cons are that in Toronto is hard to afford a big house or a fancy car, you will have to start by a nice small apartment.

Hey, Thank you for your reply.
I am glad to hear that my IT background will be helpful for my immigration. I don't have any preferences as of now to select province where should I move to, but my question is how should I get invitation/nomination from any province. Does any city/province have any immigration stream open for my job code (2172 or 1111)? or is there any other way, like I think for Quebec, one can apply for EOI, but not sure if one need to be experienced with in-demand job codes.

Thanks,
Darshit

I really don't know. I apply through Provincial nominee, not EE. Sorry, I don't have information about that.

Thank you Grechy. I am Outland applicant (from India).

No worries if you don't have answer to my question of PNP programs which are open for my job code (2171 or 1111). I was wondering if any other Forum members can pitch in here and guide?

Thanks,
Darshit
