I'm new here I am collecting doc for our citizenship application for 3 I have a valid passport and my son and wife will be expiring soon in January will it be okay to send them expiry soon passport?

yes, that's OK. they are asking for a copy of the current and expiring passports. That is what you have now at the time of application. If you apply for a new passport you can always update the information. Otherwise, you can wait for the Canadian Passport.

Which address should I use in this case -

Case Processing Center - Sydney , Box 7000 , Sydney , Nova Scotia , B1P 6V6
or
Case Processing Center - Sydney , 49 Dorchester Street, Sydney, Nova Scotia , B1P 5Z2

Yes, they will eventually return the package (in a few months). If I were you, I wouldn't wait... just send the full package (forms and supporting documents with a short letter of explanation).
