I ordered a hard copy of Discover Canada and got it few days ago , it’s available free of cost if any one wishes to get one, will start reading as soon as I get the aor

I knew that except that OP talked about reading the book since he doesn't know if his application will be accepted or returned. That's why I asked that question.

Acknowledgement of Receipt.

What's the AOR

AOR = Acknowledgement Of Receipt.
It means that CIC has received your application package. Receiving the AOR means that your application package was complete and eligible for processing. A file number # is also created and a couple days (usually) after receiving the AOR you can also check your application status on ECAS.

Based on processing times for August 2018 applicants. We're about half way through August, so probably around 2 weeks until we see first AORs for September applicants.

Many of the august 1st week applicants have not yet received AORs, it is more than 2 and half months for them. Going by that,
september 1st week applicants should expect their AORs mid-november or later.

I see one August 13 has just received his AOR . Maybe they don't respect ORDER at all.
I really want to know their method.

The thing is you can't rely on the information posted on this forum, or spreadsheet. Applicants might've already received their AOR, but haven't reported it here. Or, haven't checked their email. There's a multitude of reasons for this to look like there's no order in the processing. And yes, there will be exceptions, there's going to be applicants waiting longer than usual for the AOR (and processing in general), and there will be applicants with less of a wait.

For example. August 2018 spreadsheet:
Line 07. User "ash73". Should've received the AOR around Oct 15/16. If you check this users profile it says "Last Activity: Oct 14, 2018". So for all we know, the user received the AOR, but hasn't checked in.

I'm more excited about the fact that mid-August applicants are receiving AORs now Now's the time. We either see applications getting returned, or AORs rolling out within the next 2-3 weeks for us.

my sent on Sep 27 2018 and checked the fedex tracking and it is received on Sep 30.
I have just checked the status and my detail is not coming out at all? do you know why? If you could share your experience?
