Please replt
Congratulations!

Are there any applicants in this forum from Afghanistan? Have you received prearrival/DM/PPR within the 12 months? I'm just trying to get a sense of whether the processing time for Afghan applicants is longer than what they say on the website (ie. 12 months) cuz I'm starting to think it is. It's been almost 17 months since we submitted our application :(

I am from Afghanistan. I think it depends more on the applicants since each case is different. And yes I think it takes a little longer for some Afghan applicants than others.

Hi All,
I am Sep 15th 2017 applicant, received my pre arrival on 5th Oct. Today ECAS changed to DM. Hope I can expect the PPR in few days to a week.

For those people who’s spouses have already done landing/flagpoling.

My spouse recently landed on18 oct we went to get her SIN NO from service Canada and after checking were told that her information is not updated and asked us to fill paper application and told us SIN
would be mailed to us in3-4 weeks .
I remember when I did my landing I got my sin next day in 10 mins.

Has it happened to anyone ??

It is normal that many who landed faced problems, like they said sorry"U R flagged" but ended up to find that officer was new who did not filled things or updated correctly rt at the Airport. I had to wait a month for my own SIN no. that's OK
