An international student get a LIMA during study

Hi all,
I'm a international student. A company offers me a position and they can do LMIA for me. Should I wait until I get work permit then I drop my study permit or I can drop it now while waiting for work permit.

If I drop study permit first, does it impact to work permit process or not?

Appreciate any sharing or advices?

Wait until you get the work permit before you drop your studies.

It's not guaranteed the work permit will be approved.
