hi Guys I really need some help here.
I was a ICT(Intercompany-transfer ) employee that my Canada working permit started on Aug,2015 and I landed on the same day at bridge, however I didn't get enrolled on the Canada company's payroll until Feb 2016 and was paid by oversea company during the 7 months but I do perform the service in Canada locally.
I left the company on Sep 2018 which I worked for 3 years but if we count the payroll I only have 2.5 years.
My HR wrote me a reference letter which indicate my working experience started from Aug 2015 and put my latest Canadian salary as my pay.
However the salary I was paid by oversea company is NOT as the same as the Canadian payroll. I do have the Canadian Paystub since Feb 2016 but I don't have any oversea Paystub from Aug 2015 to Feb 2016 and didn't report the T4 during 2015 as it was less than 183 days, that means I don't have proof to prove that I was get paid during 2015....
At this moment, the 3 years will give me 11 more points which makes the invitation much easier, My question is
1. When I summit the application, which date I should input as the starting date of my Canadian working experience? what's the legal definition of Canadian working experience?
2. If it will be simple for me to put the payroll starting day ( Feb 2016) as start, should I summit a explanation letter to CIC to explain the whole story or should I need let HR to re-write a reference letter?
Thank you all for any suggestion.
Lisa.
