Post ITA Application questions for a deportee

Hi All

Need help in answering these 3 questions:

• been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?
• ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?
• been detained, incarcerated, or put in jail?

My case is that I was deported for overstaying my visa in the USA, we were working on an Asylum and it failed, tried several appeals and was denied and got an order of deportation and never left. I was detained then deported. Can anyone help in how to answer these 3 questions? Do I answer yes for all 3 or just for the 3rd one?

I have a clean record, I obtained FBI report and it only shows the arrest for deportation and no other records, should I submit it anyways if they dont ask for it?

Anyone with a similar situation would be very helpful

Were you convicted with any crime? If the answer is yes, you do have a problem, otherwise... the overstay by itself will not cause an immediate rejection if you disclose it upfront. Mark yes to all 3 and provide a letter of explanation.

Answer to all three questions is yes. Provide an explanation in the LOE like you did in your post here but includes key dates such as when you entered the US, when you applied for asylum, when you were refused, etc.

Fbi pcc is a required document in your application.
