I took the test today. I think I screwed up the speaking part. Very stressful. I got C2 on reading though, which is good.

Hi all,
Sorry for late reply. I was busy and away from the forum for quite sometime. I have shared the link with all the pending requests. Please check your email. Good luck. Cheers!!
Hi, can you please send me the material for tef. I have been learning from last 3 months, my vocab is around 5000 but still struggling with listening and speaking. Can you please also give me some tips on how to manage all this. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, ANdy----- amandeep8995@gmail.com

I did the e-TEF a few days ago, after learning french from scratch for a year I got

C1 - Comprehension ecrite
C1 - Comprehension orale

I'll have to wait couple weeks for the results of the other 2 sections.

Cheers ;)
I did the etef also, I studied for 6 months and I just got c1 in listening and b2 in reading. How did those scores actually translate in numbers? Did you get your results by mail in 2 weeks?

For all of you wondering what are the number score equivalent to C2/C1/...etc levels, here is the official equivalency chart converting score in numbers. It will help you get an estimate while waiting for final certificate.

Actually that's scary, I thought b2 is all that was needed but apparently I could have NCLC level 6 or 7 with a b2, and level 6 won't award anything. Let's hope for the best. Also I didn't know that with c1 you can get level 8,9,10. I thought it was only 9 or 10, I think this table is probably wrong. C1 is initially advanced.

Remember when we were in high school sitting for an exam, and as soon as we realize how difficult the question, we immediately assume the test or the teacher was wrong?...

No this table isn't wrong...

I sent you the official link from "Le Français des Affaires-CCI Paris", the official governing body which designs and oversees all TEF exams around the world, but you you're somehow not convinced...

Yes, B2 can be either NCLC 6 or 7. If think you're in between, you'll have to wait for final results on certificate for a definite answer.
Yes TEF is a pain when it comes to waiting for results and knowing exactly where you stand.
I myself had a stressful wait because I kind of knew I'd be around C1 for writing, which is NCLC 8 or 9 or 10, but knew I needed NCLC9 at least for me to get those extra points for language proficiency.
